At Sterkstokers, we always think “out of the box.” As food technologists, we had to combine different techniques such as fermentation without alcohol and distillation in both classical and state-of-the-art ways. After two years of searching, we came to a breakthrough with the latest insights. Vacuum distillation allowed us to lower the boiling point of water to 60°C. We process herbs, fruits…

Recipe

Our botanicals come from all over the world. And from our garden. From angelica, cloves to nutmeg, etc. Selection was one of the most difficult choices. By experimenting, we discovered which herbs give their contribution to the intense flavor even without alcohol.

Grapefruit are roasted and dried. So that the sourness transforms nicely into a balance of fruitiness and bitterness.

Blackberries release their fruitiness when steam distilled. Raspberry, lavender, cherry, lychee, rhubarb, rose, violets and strawberry also provide a new , unique blend.

0.0% alcohol:

We end our production process without alcohol.

0.0% sugar:

By distillation, no sugar comes with it. And we don’t think we should add this afterwards either. So no extra calories.
